Fellow collegemen!! It's that time of year again! You can now buy FINALS at the cost of sleep, a large amount of caffeine, and probably a large amount of sugar. But take heart! We will overcome these Finals! And they will be over by/on May 12th! And in case you want to know exactly how much longer that is, it's 18 more days! We can do this! Good luck and may the force be with you!

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." ~ Hebrews 6:19

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the
strength of my heart and my portion forever."
                             ~ Psalm 73:26

This verse has been on my mind so much lately and I thought I would share it with you.

When I felt my feet slipping, You came with Your love and kept me stead. ~ Psalm 94:18

One thing that I've been constantly having to remind myself lately is that even though I am a sinner and I fail God everyday, He still loves me. I don't have to be perfectly sinless in order for Him to love me.

Emily had a good night last night...no nausea and managed pain.  So thankful!  She is in a bit more pain today, but still doing okay.  Now that breakfast is over, she has time to rest before physical therapy comes to help get her up for the first time.  Thanks again for your prayers!

It is almost 9:00 Friday night.  Emily's surgery is over and went very well.  She is still waking up and will be spending the night in ICU.  Continued prayers are appreciated.

Update on Emily...just got word that 2 1/2 hours into it, the surgery is going well.  Thanks for your prayers:)
Good morning!  This is Leslie, Emily's mom.  She has asked me to post updates concerning her big event today.  Right now we are waiting for her surgery to begin.  Please be praying for her today.  The surgery should begin about 8:30 and will last at least 8 hours.
